Have you ever wondered how a coaching group is different from a Bible study group? Both are meaningful ways to grow, but they serve different purposes in our walk with God. One centers on soaking in Scripture together, while the other helps us take intentional steps to live out what we’ve learned.
A Bible Study Group is a sacred place where we gather around God’s Word to learn, grow in knowledge, and deepen our faith together. The focus is on Scripture itself—understanding, reflecting, and applying truth to our lives in community. It’s about soaking in God’s wisdom and letting His Spirit guide transformation.
A Coaching Group, on the other hand, is a guided journey designed to help you actively walk out that transformation in practical ways. While Scripture and faith are woven throughout, the emphasis is on application: setting goals, building habits, uncovering obstacles, and creating intentional steps toward the life God is calling you to live. Though coaching is often seen in the secular world, the coaching I offer is firmly rooted in biblical truth and Christ-centered living. It provides structure, accountability, and tools to move from “hearing the Word” to living it out in everyday decisions, relationships, and rhythms.
Both are valuable—one nourishes the heart and mind with truth, the other helps put that truth into motion with clarity and action. Bible study shapes what we believe; coaching equips us to become and to live purposefully out of that belief.
If you’re sensing that this is a season where you need guidance, encouragement, and practical steps to move forward in faith, I’d love to invite you to join me in an upcoming coaching group. Together, we’ll walk with purpose, live out what we believe, and grow in the life God is calling us to.
